I need a vacation from my vacation!! I'm so glad I've got two days before I have to work... My friend and I were in North Carolina for a week. It was amazing! If Chicago had the Appalachian mountains within a 40 minute drive it would be my dream location for living. I like the Rocky Mountains, but they are a tad intimidating. I love the variety of plant life and greenery down in North Carolina. The kudzu is mildly horrifying, however. I almost became convinced if I stood still too long I'd be consumed by rapidly growing vines. It's like Devil's Snare out of Harry Potter. I could see myself relocating at some point to the Smoky Mountain area, but I would miss Chicago... 11 hours is too far to drive for a concert.

So since I'm having major car problems (again -- I'm hoping to take advantage of the government voucher for a new ride) and it's raining, I'm forcing myself to sit still for a bit and look at some stuff I've neglected for a while. Facebook has only been neglected for a week, so it can sit there for a while. I haven't really done anything with dA in months... I'll probably also catch up on some tv or take a nap. I'll possibly post some pictures of the Biltmore Estate or something if I like them well enough.
